The VenusStrategy focuses on the dynamics of political change within the regional states and also studies strategic issues in the Southeast Asian region and the wider Asia Pacific. The focus has been on the security and stability of the region as well as the region’s relationship with major powers.
Several countries in Southeast Asia and ASEAN are involved in issues related to territorial disputes with China in the South China Sea, and the current trend of militarization of the South China Sea is becoming more and more obvious and the regional situation is getting more and more severe due to the influence of the conflict situation between China and the United States in the South China Sea. How to avoid the countries in Southeast Asia from being affected by the Sino-US Thucydides trap is a topic we have been concerned about for a long time.
In this project, we will communicate with experts, scholars and even officials in China, the United States and Asia based on a Southeast Asian perspective, in order to provide local clients with forward-looking consulting reports.
